ABOUT THE ARTIST

Andrew Foster

Working towards mystery and imagination through a camera has always been the ultimate source of fine art for Andrew.  Keeping a strong thread of movement and color gives his photography it’s own personality.

Andy received his BFA in fine art photography at the Academy of Art College, San Francisco in May 2002. He has also assisted in commercial photography for two years with a great photographer by the name of Lats Latvis, who  gave him the support and direction he needed during the learning process.  While working with Lats Latvis they focused on clientele like Microsoft, AT&T, Merril Lynch, Wired Magazine, and other companies based in California.

His work has been displayed/exhibited in various formats of the industry. Currently Andy is living in San Diego, CA. with his wife Monica and dog Hannah.  He holds a full-time position as a “Digital PrePress Analyst” at MARCOA PUBLISHING, INC., and is also teaching photography/photoshop part-time at The Studio Academy, an independent art school in San Diego, CA.

While utilizing his experience in photography, he hopes to help those around him explore their thoughts and imagination to the fullest.
